Refund Policy — Politique de remboursement

Unochat offers monthly and annual subscription plans. This policy explains your rights regarding cancellations and refunds.

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Under European consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of your first purchase, provided you have not yet used the service (i.e., sent any messages or generated any content). If you have used the service within those 14 days, you expressly waive this right, as the service is considered fully performed.

To exercise your right of withdrawal (if eligible), contact us at contact@unochat.ai before the 14-day period expires.

2. Monthly Subscriptions

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then.
• Monthly charges are non-refundable once processed, except as required by law.

3. Annual Subscriptions

• Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.
• If you cancel within 14 days of your annual payment and have made minimal use of the service, you may request a prorated refund for the unused months.
• After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you retain access until the end of the annual period.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

We handle refund requests case by case. If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from using the service, or if you were charged in error, please contact us — we will do our best to make it right.

5. How to Request a Refund

Send an email to contact@unochat.ai with:

• Your account email address.
• The date and amount of the charge.
• The reason for your refund request.

We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.

6. Team & Enterprise Plans

Refund terms for Team and Enterprise plans are defined in your subscription agreement. Contact contact@unochat.ai for any billing queries.
